All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19)
The God of all grace will provide for every need of the believer in accordance with His riches, His righteousness, His grace, His mercy. He does this for His praise and for His honor. The one who believes and trusts in the Lamb of God is His workmanship, His greatest treasure on earth, a royal gem in His crown. God paid the ultimate price for mankind when he purchased his soul with the blood of His Only Begotten Son. God will provide for the needs of His children according to His wisdom, His power, His mercy, and His grace. The Christian would do well to remember that God’s eternal perspective often conflicts with man’s earthly viewpoint. God longs to pour out abundant fulness of spiritual and eternal blessings on His children. The individual releases these blessings when he yields to his King’s commands, for therein is found the fulness of life that God has stored up for him. He will know God’s riches in glory. He will know communion with God. He will know because he has found faith in Jesus for the glory of God.
How do we become partakers of His riches? By faith. We learn to trust Jesus to fulfill our needs. Needs of the heart, “He is near to the brokenhearted” (Ps. 34:18). Needs of the soul, “He keeps him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him” (Is. 26:30. Needs of the body, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory” (Phil. 4:19). He is the Great I AM. He will be what we need Him to be when we need Him to be. Jesus had needs. He took His needs to God in prayer (Jn. 12:27-28). He began by telling God His problem: “My soul is troubled”. He identified what He wanted: “Father, save Me from this hour”. He concluded with praise: “Father, glorify Your name”. When we allow troubles to draw us closer to God, trusting Him, thanking Him, praising Him, we are enabling Him to fill our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
What needs are you facing this day? You are a blood-bought child of God, His treasured possession. He will strengthen, help, and support you. He is waiting for you to tell Him the problem, to clarify what you would like, to praise Him. Know that with unceasing prayer, developing faith, and increasing praise, He fills your heart, your soul, your mind with praise. You are receiving His riches in glory. “All you may need He will provide, God will take care of you.”
