81 Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me

Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. (Ro. 5:20)

I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind but now I see

Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. (Ps. 62:1)

How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. (I Pet. 1:8-9)

Through many dangers, toils and snares
We have already come

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7)

T’was grace that brought us safe thus far
And grace will lead us home

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. (Ps. 23:6)
